and white versions are available.
We're looking for performers
who would like to do a 2 minute routine at the LA County
Fair in Pomona on September 20th. All ages and styles
welcome, groups or couples. Contact Bill Rose (billrose
@cox .net) if interested.
FOX11 found out about "Mayflower
Wednesdays" on our web site, and contacted our publicity
director to help them coordinate a story.
We emailed all of our chapter
members to help promote the evening. Thanks to the many
USA Dance LA members who showed up that night. We had
a big crowd there and everyone had a blast.

"Dancing
with the (Future) Stars" is U.S.A. Dance Los Angeles Chapter
4031's new initiative to teach ballroom dance to kids. We
launched the program to create a love of ballroom dance
in the next generation. Our kids program was the cover story
in the January-February issue of "American Dancer",
the national magazine of USA Dance. Click

In addition to being the venue for our next USA Dance
party, the Mayflower now offers a $2 discount on Wednesdays
when you present your USA Dance LA membership card!
The Mayflower offers
the only weeknight ballroom dance in Los Angeles, and their
colorfully lit 9,000 square foot wooden floor is one of
the largest in Southern California. Dance from 7 to 11 p.m.
to the big band sounds of the Tanner Brothers Orchestra
and a super selection of DJ numbers between the sets. Music
selections include foxtrot, waltz, rumba, cha cha, salsa,
samba, East and West coast swing, hustle, night club two-step,

The producers of “Wife Swap” are making a new
TV show, swapping a Ballroom dancer from one family to another.
The casting isn’t based on dance level. However you
have to be a dancer, be married and have at least one child
over 5.Also, there’s a $1,000 finder’s fee if
you refer someone else who is cast. For more info, e-mail

Alec teaches a 1 hour Latin Technique class on Tuesday and
